Mulberry put on their Fall 2011 show in both NYC and London. The color palette was not muted neutrals like many other shows we saw, rather bold jewel toned colors, which was a welcomed change to many other shows we saw. The mulberry outlet store show was playful and youthful, while still retaining a fashionable upper hand.
Let’s start off with the color scheme. Purple is one of my favorite colors. Purple is a very flattering color on many people, and always seems to look good against my skin tone and coloring. The scarf has stripes of different hues of purples, almost blues, with large pom poms at the end. Of course there is the replica bag, which we can not miss. The grainy plum lambskin bag is the Mulberry Mens.
I was checking all of the photos and came across my favorite look from the show. This look appeals to me in every way possible. Many of the handbag enthusiasts are raving about two things this season; patent leather and purple. I am part of the raving crowd, finding these two trends edgy and fun. Some purple hues are a deep plum, that tantalize the eyes and others are playful purples that entice your fun side.
Either way, the trend is hot. Another handbag that fits the trend is the Mulberry Mable Patent Leather Bag which sports purple patent leather with chunky buckle fastening and gold hardware. Different from its sister, the Mulberry Neely, this handbag is young and funky, like the hip young sister living in Brooklyn while the Bayswater hails from Manhattan.
I have saved the best for last. Is anyone else extremely excited to see the adorable French Bulldog making his way down the runway, with a purple tonal sweater as well? Can I just say that finished off this look and made me fall in love.
